What can the world do to improve the current refugee crisis?

Worldwide, there is more than 21 million people who have been forced to flee abroad. Even though most rich countries are treating refugees as if they’re not their responsibility, the governments in the countries the refugees are fleeing to, still have a duty to help. The richer countries have concerns about being invaded and overflooded by people with another ethnicity, and therefor allows poorer country to take on almost all of the refugees. 

In my opinion, to help the refugees, we need to donate more money, and create a better system for how we are handling the refugees that are seeking asylum in our country. The richer countries should make more room and better programs for asylum recipients. We have to help integrate them in the currents society they are now in. we have to put a final stop to prejudices which leads to racism and remember that asylum is a human right. Everyone has a right to live in country where there is safe, and no harm done to any innocent beings. Also, we should step in and try to stop the situation that is going on in their original country. If we can participate in putting the war and the persecution to an end, there will no longer be any refugees.
